The Artist
“We are all just souls stored in bodies made of canvas, given only a brush and the ability to find the paint.”
~Elliott Crow
My name is Elliott Crow (she/her) and I am a self taught, traditional artist. I use watercolor paints in most of my art, however I am interested in a wide range of art forms.
The term “artist” is something that I feel a lot of people view as a title someone receives only after they’ve gone to art school or begin to sell artwork. However, to me, anyone who creates art is an artist. My hope is that through my own artwork, I am able to help encourage others, especially young people, to continue to create beautiful things and to not be afraid to call themselves an artist.
Most of the inspiration for my artwork comes from nature. I have three cats and a flock of chickens whom I love dearly. I am also lucky enough to live in a place with so many beautiful birds and plants. My drive to paint realistic animals comes from seeing their natural beauty everyday.
